The Pitch Drop Experiment is one of the longest-running experiments in the world. The experiment was established by Thomas Parnell, a professor of physics at the University of Queensland, in 1927. But, for different reasons, in the 85 years that the pitch has been dripping no one has ever seen the drop fall.
